Lee Kuan Yew is hardly the kind of leader we need. He uses his power to hide his own corruption and that of his family members. He tramples on people's rights just to stay in power. It's easy to turn a blind eye when other people's rights are violated when you haven't had to fight for your own. I had to fight for mine in 1986. So no mayor is going to trample on mine without a fight.

I'm all ok for democracy and all, but people these days have way too much rights, the right to do this, the right to do that, to the point that our society has become decadent. Everybody is too preoccupied with their own advancement that they have forgotten the country.

If Mayor Tommy's strictness and sometimes authoritarian methods will help make Cebu a better place then I am all for it. Go Tommy!!

All i can say to Mayor Tommy is, he is very dependent to his wife Margot. To the extent that his decission is influenced. in short under da saya c Mayor Thomas.......
