what's sad was the refs tried harder than the Thunder to keep the game close.

KD still has a long way to go, but I think Brooks has reached the ceiling of his coaching ability. they'll never get over the Heat until they get a better coach. probably will happen 2 seasons from now after losing the Finals again and again.

if I was KD, I would sit every other game except this. too important. they have never beaten the Heat since game 1 last year. it's important for the teams psyche that he plays, especially since they won't play again until the Finals.

It's true that it was the refs who tried to make the game close. OKC was clearly losing this game, that's why I think KD should have just sat this one out. Hey, they can be blown out by 50 and it would still be "+1" in the loss column. It was only important because of their ego.

I agree with you on Brooks though. For a team with a number of viable options, I hate their rotation.
