how a child grows up depends mostly on the example they see from their parents.

ie.. how the father act is how a boy should be.. while how the mother act is how they girl should be.

dolls alone wont make one gay when they grow up...

    A very interesting quote:

"Tolerance" is not synonymous to "acceptance". "Acceptance" does not only constitute the visible eyes or the human understanding. "Acceptance" does not connive with numbers, nor does by redemption by being part of your so called "as a support to our society or is accepted by the people.".

Meaning, homosexuality is tolerated but is not generally accepted and should never be if we refer to the Holy Book. Sometimes, we people get confused with both terms. I have posted some of my reactions somewhere and even gave the word 'accepted', unaware of how such terms may affect my statement.

God forbids the 'homosexual way of life', and punishes those who chose the path, according to the bible. reformation and realization can be a good key to the salvation of these individuals. This may be far out, but is related; take for example what happened to Sodom and Gomora.

    Deuteronomy 22:5
A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this.

In the end, some of them will be homosexual offenders as well due to attraction to the same ***.

    Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.

It may be that humanity has no right to reject these individuals from their communities, as they too are living their lives 'as normal as they could' and like everybody else, feel pain, joy and love but as always, the law of God comes first.

And emphasizing reformation is where parents get in. This is their only hope in line with the Will of God.
here we go again with biblical basis. no, you can't use biblical basis because you weren't there when it was written. it is a fact that what is written in the bible is not the whole truth, and things were altered from translation to translation.

and, for scientific basis, why don't you people read this article: http://www.seedmagazine.com/news/200...p?page=all&p=y

being gay is natural. and that article says a whole lot.

you are somewhat inconsistent when you are saying that we cant use the biblical basis coz we are not there and you are giving a link about darwin theory, its a theory and never yet proven and you are not there also amillion years ago

the link isn't actually about the correctness of the darwin theory. read it, and you'll find that it actually contradicts with the theory.

as said in the first sentence, "Joan Roughgarden thinks Charles Darwin made a terrible mistake." the situations cited here are present day facts regarding present day animals, animals which, obviously, exist at this day and age.

want more? here's something from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_animals

I'm sorry but the notion of preventing or healing homosexuality is just plain ridiculous. Homosexuality cannot be explained by someone who doesn't even know anything about it. A former homosexual? Please...

This is the kind of misinformation that fuels more misunderstanding about homosexual people.

homosexuality is not a disease nor is it a behavior that can be "healed". No one, not even the experts in the field of medicine has determined the real cause of homosexuality. and to blame the parents for homosexuality is just plain wrong.

this is exactly the kind of narrow-mindedness that the gay community detest.

Sexual orientation can be determined by one's conscious decisions, preferences and influences. I only believe it is "natural" as natural as people making their personal choices that'll make them happy.

With that being said, I sometimes hope that people stop making God as an excuse for being who they are. "God made me this way" is really somewhat lame, in my humble opinion. "I am who I am" is better; stating one's an adult, aware and responsible for one's own choices for fulfillment and happiness.

I apologize for being overly cryptic or just downright senseless as well (if you think so).
seriously, let me share you my thoghts about this.

I already gained the friendship of more than 20 or so individuals with diffirent sexualities, to whom I am really grateful to have known and shared my life with. but please, this debate has been going on for centuries now.i dont think there really is something wrong with being a gay. in fact, i always find gays as super talented, super practical, super real...

so what's with blaming mr. him or mrs. her for being that?
