They will ultimately influence and even manipulate, to a certain extent, laws that will be passed in the next few years.

They can very much promote the interests of their respective families once they are seated there. It looks like they're getting a foothold of the Congress if they win. There's nothing wrong if they are doing their respective jobs accordingly. But the performance of the past tandems seemed to be leaning on the negative than positive remarks.
