does your entourage really need uniform designer dresses? the last weddings where i was in the entourage, the bride & groom sponsored the fabric (we were consulted on how many meters/yards we required). the entourage agreed on a theme/style, then we proceed to our individual designers/sewers. this way, bride & groom are spared the expense and hassle of coordinating fittings for 10 people (or more), yet we still looked like we were literally cut from the same fabric, and we wore clothes that suited our individual styles and budgets.
get help from talented and reliable friends/relatives who can contribute labors of love to the wedding. can someone make the invitations, bake the cake, lend & drive the wedding car, make/source the souvenirs...? involving people you know and care about makes the event more special.
the most important things are to plan the details well and get the support from people who care about you.
