How to install 200 meters apart thru wireless

akong ge actual ganiha mga master.

Point A. (WRT54GL; ddwrt) AP mode.

Point B. (ASUS WL520GU; ddwrt) (wala ko kabaw unsa na mode e butang. ge try lang nako AP mode.)


resulta:

A to B, dili mag-abot.
i think ill add "1" in between. (unsay mode angay e butang?)

naa pakoy (wrt54g2 & wrt610n; all running ddwrt) diri.

actually daghan kog stuff diri..hehe (daghan kay ko nagpataka ug pamalit para ani na setup)..
naa koy sm antenna sa smartbro (pwede ni?). naa koy antenna sa globe wimax (pwede ni?). ang wimax ant dili lang mu sakar sa linksys/asus na router. (naa by adaptor ani?). lastly naa pakoy sat dish na plato.. hopefully naay magamit ani nila.

Try this bro. Ang Point B kay ordinary lang ang set up (Assumed nako naa imong ISP dri naka connect). And Point A kay Client mode. Mo connect siya sa Point B. Mao ni gi set up nako balay sa akong GF. Pero duol lang to. Running DDWRT gihapon to akong client/receiver.

ako question bah is,
1.magkita ang duha ka end?
2. na try na nimo bro ug increase ang "TX POWER para sa iyang antena?"
( sa akong observation if e full nako to 500 ang TX sa akng router-ddwrt layo cya ug ma abtoan pero dali ra mo init. nag experiment pdko ani para sa akng piso-piso gd)

Point A to Point B is 200 meters away.
Pont A (router); middle (repeater); Point B (router)

unsa on ni pag config? what router do i need?

I will not recommend repeater as it will create more loss. Point to Point link does not need router if you will used a fat AP (please read the difference between fat and thin ap's) . Please be noted that wifi is csma/ca not csma/cd ( read its comparison ). Please answer the following questions so that I can help you.

1. Do you have line of sight from point A to point B?
2. What is your target bandwidth for this link?
3. What is your application for the two links?
4. Where is your main internet connection? is that in Point A or in Point B?
