kaskade's set, if you take it as it is, was great. he spun some tracks i've never heard before. really liked the mix he did on a nelly furtado song (not really sure if it WAS indeed, but my gf told me it was). he played some never-before heard of bass-induced deep house which was great.
and, to my surprise, it turned out the opening act, superfly, was ok too. it's nice to hear a house version of foo fighter's "best of you".
however, i was really upset with the announcer... and kaskade did not come all the way from the states to get his anthem, "it's you it's me", get massacred by the opening act's crazy saxophonist.
"give a haaand... for mr superfly himseelllfff... dj kaaarllll tyyy!!!" or "when i say kas, you say kade--- KAS.... KAS..."
LIKE WFT. i swear someone should've thrown an empty beer bottle at that b**** announcer. they should have a screening or something to prevent idiot announcers like these from walking on the stage. after some good self-indulgent rants and chants, he would NOT even turn off the mic which created some serious FEEDBACK in the middle of kaskade's set. "oh no" "CRAP"--- i was telling myself.
damn, those guys were really determined to f*** up what was supposed to be a night of good music for me.
i was pretty upset.

oh, he also played empty streets by lna. that was nice, but i wished he did more tweaking to it- not just turning the volume knobs around.
^bitaw, that effin' sax player ruined Kaskade's music... what an ass...
i didn't care for the announcer either. as far as i was concerned, his job was to announce the acts, not be part of it. he didn't have to be onstage either.
i didn't mind the sax player.
had a great time last night (this morning?!). i'm deaf but i'm happy.
i am deaf! even on stage it was booming. kaskade was good enough to pose for a pic though. will post some pics soon
