Rude I AM NIKON Sinulog 2013 “photographers”

Hello sa tanan. I just want to clarify things lang kay murag looy jud kaayo ang Nikon ane. I'm not a Nikon user but i am just concerned lang sa understanding sa uban about what happened last Sinulog 2013. First and foremost ang nag organize ani nga photo contest kay ang Sinulog Foundation Inc. Nangita sila ug sponsor para ane so they chose Nikon, esp. sa shirts. So walay labot intawn ang Nikon sa behavior sa mga photogs ato na time. They had been told man nga dapat tanan ngparegister ug 1k should wear the I AM NIKON shirt. Second, believe it or not, walay name ang ID sa mga photogs, only ID NUMBERS. So lisod jud pagpangita kinsa tong tawhana nga way etiquette. I hope ma set na jud sa SFI ang tarong nga guidelines for this contest in all fairness. The photography world has also its issues sa recently concluded nga photo contest. I hope dili mausab inyo pagtan-aw sa mga photographers kay dili tanan ani nila walay batasan sama aning tawhana.

i agree nga most jud sa mga taw wala nay disiplina labi na pag sinulog...dili lang kay mga photogs ra...we have our own share of mistakes...PERO... even if tradition na ni nato, we must also think nga lahi na sa una ug sa karon nga generation.. change is constant, d na makalikayan..lisod na kaayo pag control ang mga taw ron labi na nga nagkaanam ug kadaghan ang spectators ug photographes...so dapat maglikay nlng jud..

I did bring two cameras, pero wa ko niparegister sa 1K for I am Nikon kay I was bringing my Canon and Olympus dslr's and is not ready to change straps.

I was at the streets. Nakisabay sa pushing and pulling from 8am - 5pm. Photographers are everywhere, and I did encounter what T.S experienced. not once but many. Behind ra ko sa Pisi when 3 "I am Nikon photographer" pass and Stopped in front of me. I was trying to shoot a sinulog dancer then --- my companion shouted "wow - sila nga makapasopaso sa sulod nang block pa ug naa sa gawas".

Ako nalang intawon gihipos akong cam. Nagpatugmod na sad aron kitag new scene.
In fairness, mga mahalon man sad tog cam ang niali nako 2007 pay mga model.

Like others, Unta sa sunod - akong panghinaot nga seminaron sad ni sa Do's and Dont's, or kung giseminar man - D unta ni sila magpakaaron ingnong nakatag-iya sa karsada. Angin lang ang mga nagtinarong ug nagpakaprofessional ani.

The crowd is already a problem ever since pero nadungagan sa attitude pa gyud some of this fotogs thought they p;ain some amount of money para nila napud sila na ang mas privileged.
Its so evident as alleged by the article or blognag pakita sa ilang ID as if it's not their concern if na'ay mapi-it or ma block ang view samot na nga ang focus sa concern adto pa gyud e-sway sa spectators nga everybody kabalo man gyud naa na sila and ang ilaha ra tawn is maka kita though some they elbow and push around to get the opportunity.

And yah usa ra bitaw siya/sila or duha pero he/she manage to wave his/her badge of, somewhat. sole privilege above others in terms of viewing opportunjties.

The SFI has to have a better system of controlling the crowd to avoid incidents like this. There will always be a prick or two in a crowd, ma-photographer pa na or spectator lang. Arrogance isn't exclusive to photographers, and no matter how much we harp about etiquette, kung gahi jud ulo ang usa ka tao, gahi jud na siyag ulo. Some people, in this case photographers, are just idiots lang jud.

There has to be a system that will force the crowds and photographers to watch and do their own thing without stepping on each others toes--leaving them be, as has been the case for the past few years, will only result in problems. Mura ra nag taxi stand. Kung walay tigbantay, dili kana mag unhanay sakay ang mga tao instead of forming an orderly line? It's just a matter of creating and enforcing rules.

Usa lng jud ang manubag ani...ang SFI no more, no less...they should have a clear and proper guidelines for the said constest which was sponsored by NIKON. Nikon has nothing to do with these.

Usahay man gud kanang mga photogs ba como nay na cla mahalon nga camera tuo nimo mayo na kaau or murag kinsa na...ang tinuod diay ato usa ra sad cia kadako nga unggoy nga may camera sa iya kamot.- feeler kung baga.

Ako ato ing anaon niya paksit jud ba!
