Yes there is no such word in the bible..

purgatory in RCC teachings is either a place or a state where righteous souls needs to be cleansed for them to enter heaven, since Nothing unclean shall enter heaven (Rev 21:27).

    examples....

Baruch 3:4 - Baruch asks the Lord to hear the prayers of the dead of Israel. asa man ang mga nangamatay nag.ampo, if there were just heaven and hell?

2 Macc. 12:43-45 - the prayers for the dead help free them from sin and help them to the reward of heaven. asa man d i ang souls nga ampuan sa mga buhi?..

2 Tim. 1:16-18 - Onesiphorus is dead but Paul asks for mercy on him “on that day.” Paul’s use of “that day” demonstrates its eschatological usage (see, for example, Rom. 2.5,16; 1 Cor. 1.8; 3.13; 5.5; 2 Cor. 1.14; Phil. 1.6,10; 2.16; 1 Thess. 5.2,4,5,8; 2 Thess. 2.2,3; 2 Tim. 4.8 ) Where is Onesiphorus then?

Of course, there is no need for mercy in heaven, and there is no mercy given in hell.

well at one point yes but not directly. it still boils down to Faith sio
it is more likely under the list of things that would follow after finding FAITH.
it is merely the start of our Christian walk.

technically, it should be under the "goodworks by faith" column.
