At least the archbishop said that parents who wants to have more children and trust to the Lord. For the record, the government didn't use force and said to the people that they need to use condoms, contraceptives and artificial birth control when romancing. It is a choice if they want to use them. If they want to listen to the church, so be it.

Nowadays, everyone thinks practically. Couples opt to have one or two children because prices today are becoming like tigers, they quickly rise. If they want to have more children, they need to reassess everything, starting off with health, education, food etc.

The only question that intrigues me is that what is the stand of the church on those parents who have more than 5 children or more and live below the poverty line and cannot sustain even their own needs? I never heard a word about it.

As much as I praise your worthiness in discussions , I will just leave it like that . Though at least , RESPECT is there when needed. I appreciate that.

But to know more about the core is something really evitable because we cant be in the same page. True , labeling HATERS to people is not a right thing to do but if I see that way because basing from " experience " coins to what we call " it did not happen overnight " . I have know so many people who are always in the prowl of attacking the church , they are HATERS in my book ilabi na kadtong hilig mo generalized.

Like I said in a previous reply , I dont even know why I am here na wala man untay labot ko ani na mismo si Palma gani hilom ra man and heartily embraced the persecution and criticisms but as a faithful who knew the truth contrary to what was reported , I feel obliged to correct it by suppressing people in using their individual emotions to rule over them .

If I labeled you as a hater but you dont hate the church , I apologized for that tactless approach .

What about katong pari nga namatay kay gadala ug 2 ka chix sa motel, may God rest his soul. Di na jud to hearsay. I'm sure wa to sila mag check in para mo confess tong 2 ka chix. I haven't heard any priest being dismissed from priesthood because of some misdeeds, that's why it turned me off. I still consider myself a catholic and christian but I don't believe in men in robes anymore, anyway for me salvation can't be obtain from religion but your individual faith.

anyone have a transcript of the homily or was there and can summarize this? personally i think this long back and forth argument about what was in the homily or not is pointless. if you weren't there you can neither say it was or wasn't misquoted. and if you were there why not post the homily arun walay lalis. pointless argument is pointless imo...

It would be hard to post the actual homily because it has to be coordinated word for word alongside the news report to establish the big difference and misleading statements. That is why I have come to a conclusion on just ceasing to argue about it. The last time I checked , nobody stood for being there and heard the actual homily except for one na obvious kaayo na claim lang.

Appreciate that reminder though.
