actually, dli man libre ang kuryente sa mga employees. naa japon bayran. and there are talks nga wagtangon na na nga privilege...and about wlay competition, just wait..mga october cguro...ma open na nya..meralco n co will come, dats y ang veco karon naning kaau in improving their services ky nana naman nya competensya. and about salary, layooooooo ra kaau sa expectations. but knowing aboitiz nga tihik...well

good to know na naa na competition but unsa ka reliable ang info about that. if naa man gani.. mas maayo, in that way services will be much better and this will greatly benifit the consumer. just like whats happening to our telecommunication karon.

well a friend of mine is working in VECO and ok raman ila benifits and compensation...yes dili libre but dako kaayo ila discount para ana, dili man sad cguro wagtangon na na privilege but mas stricto na lang cguro ang pag implement.

Many are complaining because of the new management but its natural for employees to complain coz of new management style kai wala paman cla maanad, in time maanad ra na sila..

Nindot man jud trabaho in any Utility companys....

well d new veco is managed by d same company hu manages davao light...they r trying to pattern veco after davao light...or even better. d ppl in veco now r mostly from davao light

about competition sa veco ur ryt, f ur an electrical engineer you should know this. naa man gud gitawag sa Phil. Electrical Code "WESM" established by DOE mao ni ang maghatag ug Open Access and Retail Competition to generate electricity. Mao ni na maskin kinsa maka baligya ug koryente... maskin ikaw kung ganahan ka. :P :P :P

@bing bang boom: i havent heard abt WESM etc. Actually, the open access was brought about by EPIRA, the Electric Power Industry Reform Act [RA 9136]..open access that is. im not a making a research...if u read d previous posts above, u'll know why i know a lot abt them.

u know guyz, galibog ko ninyo.. mura mo nahadlok ug strikto ug tihik nga management. tell you guyz, here in cebu, veco is one of the best.

strikto? nag manage raman ang mga aboitizes, so ang makaingon nga strikto na cla ang management ra sad, and infact, kon dili sad ka mag strikto sa imong kompaniya, chaos ang dangatan... for me, maayo man na nga strikto para dili pud maabosaran. tan-awa nang gobyerno o nga dili strikto, dili sad ganahan manrabaho ang mga empleyado...
