I'm getting an Asus P8 Z68-V Pro Gen 3, suggestions?

naa mga z77 mobo at a bit higher price, mas better deretso ka z77. whats your processor? kung dili na K series, wala man japon pulos. better B75 or h77 ug mao na.

I'm actually starting from scratch (and not really a hardcore computer geek like most of you here) and the thought of buying a 12k mobo for less than half the original price seems enticing kay gakapyot rapod akong budget. hehe. I can't afford a 12k mobo and I'm stuck with 5 to 6k more or less. what do you think is another alternative mobo?

if you will not be overclocking or anything, sayang kaayo ang extra money that you will spend on the z68 pro mobo. If you are more of the "just put the computer together and not tweak anything" type of user, you will better off saving money on an b75 chipset motherboard that is less than 3k.. and put in the left over money somewhere else.

I do have plans to use the full potential of whatever setup I could come up. 3dMax, renderings, digipaints, and games so naa jud sa plan ang mag overclock. Suppose I'll just stay with a Sandy setup using this MoBo, ok ra ba?

Haha. Ayaw intawon bossing, first time tawon ko ni magpina engineer kunuhay og mag assemble of CPU. Dunno the budget boss. I'm honestly planning on buying one part at a time (bahala'g mahal basta matiguman lang) sa makabi na sweldo, mao jud btaw sugdan nako palit mobo para mapadayon na jud kay mahurot ra ang kwarta dayon. Haha.

I'm thinking of an i5 setup paired with a reliable Graphics card. Ma angay ra ba?
