My point is, why are you comparing a wrx to a 1 series, wherein its direct competitor is the 3 series? Good thing the 1 series has enough performance in it to still be able to be compared with a wrx,

What im concerned about is the way the comparisons between the two cars is made, yes you can compare a land rover and a mirage but it is a biased comparison and therefore a useless comparison, considering a land rover outstrips the mirage in all fields, A car comparison should be objective, you cant just say, a wrx is better because of higher resale value or it is a bigger car than the 1 series, the same way you cant just say 1 series is better than a wrx because it has better performance. What im trying to say is, before you make a declaration on which car is better, it has to be supported with facts not just oppinions.

Im not saying its bad to speak what's on your mind, ultimately it's your oppinion that will be deciding which car you might buy, but what you think should not cloud on what the real facts are, you cant compare a 1 series with a wrx.

We can drag this debate for days and days without deciding an answer, but my point is, a wrx cannot be compared to 1 series fairly , simply because they are not in the same market segment, meaning both cars are inteded for different user groups,

That is a matter of opinion. BMW is looking into adding AWDs to 1 series vehicles and marketed the same way as the STI.

Anyway TS has made his choice.

As for me it's like deciding whether to marry Natalie Portman or Megan Fox. I'd go with Natalie Portman and though the s3x may not be as exciting at least I feel more secure in the relationship. Megan Fox will give you an STD and burn your money away.
