dont forget, if normal 2.5" hdd imo ipaslak to desktop - 5400rpm ra kasagaran ang mga 2.5"

^ in today's 2.5" HDD, daghan na ang 7,200 rpm... normal na rpm speed na sya ron for the 2.5" HDD. kaso lang, mahal pa sya gamay compared to its 3.5" sibling... also, the 5,400 rpm for 3.5" HDD is also normal in today's standard... this is the speed that the "green drives" will operate most of the time rather than their 7,200 rpm capability... this is the main reason maong ang uban user, mo ingon ug likay anang WD Green (an example) kay hinay na...

update: i haven't received any "distress" calls from the PC user YET so it may just mean that the 2.5" HDD is still functioning.... for now!.... hehehehe...

bro lloyd, tinuod ba na hinay rpm = bati performance?

^ bro deejay, dili ra man bro. atoa man gud ma compare sa faster options maong mo ingon ta'g bati'g performance. the truth is, it's not the fault of the product but the users fault. gamit man ug hinay na rpm HDD para sa OS & apps so, hinay ang response time. the HDD performs as intended man...

hinay = rpm... hinay ang response time man nya sa read & write... maong hinay ang response sa system like booting up, running apps from the HDD, reading and writing large size files...

kita man lagi, naa man ta sa "instant age"... kita tanan, preferred nato na kusog tanan... fact of life man gud ni. the best na gamiton ning mga 5,400 rpm HDD is for storage kay dili man ta sensitive if kani ang application na gamitan of this type of HDD. at the momenbt, almost all external HDD storages (kaning mapalit nato na boxed da-an) uses this 5,400 rpm HDD pa man pud... "house-hold grade" NAS HDD (like the WD Red) are also utilizing the 5,400 rpm speed... the same ning Red sa Green WD Caviars... 5,400 to 7,200 rpm ang speed...
