Many riders just don't like wearing helmets period. They feel that the risk is worth the ride. They feel the reduction in hearing and vision, combined with the added risk of cervical damage outweighs the risk of head injury. They prefer to concentrate on accident avoidance, over injury reduction.

ICC sticker ang tawag sa atong nation kay dili man ta U.S. nya ang standard sa us kay lahi sad sa ato and vice versa..

Unya sa akong pag sabot ang dot is a usa certification which does not apply its standards outside of their country maong naghimo pud ug ece, jis ug shell (north america)

Nya mao pud nang naa tay icc. With the same purpose ug aim sa ilaha.

MRO did not against the Helmet Law... its the IMPLEMENTATION of this law..

A message from MRO :

A MESSAGE TO ALL:

I have just finished writing and printing copies of the letter to House Speaker Belmonte asking him to support the amendment filed by Senator Honasan by pushing for a counterpart bill in congress...

I am appealing to him so that our constitutional rights be protected and defended from this RAW law that has left our fellow riders taxed out of their time and days wage to line up for the sticker that is the cause of unscrupulous acts from enterprising officers...

At the same time, I have also printed copies of the letter for LTO Secretary Torres as the primary agency tasked to implement the current law as it is written to hold off on apprehending riders based on the ICC requirement on street level...

If given the chance, I am prepared to offer our help in identifying all stores and sellers that does not comply to the Import Commodity Clearance or Philippine Standard requirement for importing or selling standard, quality helmets to consumers...

My wish is that when I make that commitment, we as MRO volunteers, help in the correction of the process by reporting stores that does not sell qualified helmets to the consumers...

It is now almost 5AM and I have yet to get some rest prior to some errands I have to do at work and to meet all of you in another day where we practice our right to defend ourselves from unfair and unequal legislation...

I hope to see all of you, in high spirits, united and eager to see this mission through... For it is within us, the capacity to be part of another moment in our riding lives to battle the injustices left trailing by half baked legislation that taxes us instead of protecting us...

May God bless you all and may we have a safe, meaningful and successful ride today...

i think the reason of the protest and the qualms of the people is NOT on the law.......it's in the gothdamn ICC sticker........and yes, this law needs to be amended.......

Dri sa pinas ang style raba nato magdrive og motor kay maglusot2x sa kilid kung traffic. Maau lang ang full face kung dagko ang dalan like sa US. Lisod kaayo i-lingi sa kilid kung full face helmet. Ok ra ang index half face helmet pero full face gamay ra ang ma view nimo. dili ka kabantay kung naay mga ki-at nga jeepney og taxi driver..

Ngano gud tawng mo lingi ka. It defeats the purpose of having a side mirror.

Way lain rason kay ug i compare nimo aug sakyanan mas lapad, mas daghan ug blind spots, mas lisod i suhot2 ang sakyanan but you never have to look behind kung mo chnage lane ka..

Mao lagi na basta ilisan ug pa choy2 nga side mirror.. Nawala ang standard ug ang safety.

Bugu-a nimo brad...

Brad makita ba sa side mirror 45 degrees nimo left or right...? tubaga dayun...

bisag plangana pana kadak-a imong side mirror... usa ra ang gi-atubang ana... even 4 wheel drivers molingi 45 degrees nila...

kung bug-at ug dako imong helmet parihas sa imong ulo nga gadako lang... sayun raba brad?

Kasagaran bangga nga fatal brad sa kilid dili sa luyu... kakuha ka brad...? Magpinamayu man ka gud... hasta plaka sa motor ibutang sa atubangan... sure oist...
