why prayers are not answered most of the times?
para nako ang prayer is not only asking for something from God...it could also be a way para magpasalamat, meditate ug makig reconcile sa Ginoo.
Ako I pray to thank God and to ask for His protection..
cause prayers are not orders/demands...
and not all our prayers can result or bring goodness to us
from God's perspective of course otherwise we wouldn't be making those petition if we think thy're of no good for us...
that's why we have blessings in disguise...a blessing out of an unanswered prayer
would always be one of the examples of God's infinite knowledge about what is right for us.

Who's more powerful? Sto Nino, Pedro Calungsod or Jesus Christ?
Aren't you bothered and confused whom to worship first?
Why do we worship them?
If it has become a tradition, does it automatically become truth?
Who mediates us to God?
Who's more powerful? Sto Nino, Pedro Calungsod or Jesus Christ?

@ HIZUKA ....
All your questions were answered already in the simplest of forms that even you can understand without even reflecting on it.
@ USMAN77 ....
Yes you are correct. The RCC does not at all source out the teachings of FAITH solely from the HOLY BIBLE alone because we do have traditions but what I meant on BIBLICALLY BASED are instances / occurences or nature of it that can be traced and located in the bible and it does not at all to be supported by the EXACT WORDINGS found in VERSES .Sorry but I beg to disagree. We Catholics have practices that weren't drawn from the Bible. We also have what's called
TRADITION which dates from the early church --- the Apostles.
Not all teachings were recorded in the Bible, we know that too.
Thank you for that correction.
@ SIODENZ ....
I was checking your questions rooted from what I said and indeed you fell to the hook , line and sinker.okay, so WHAT is the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERPRETATION and BASED sa BIBLE?
Indeed the two has obvious differences yet these are APPLES and ORANGES , therefor , you cant compare them but to literally answer it for your convenience .
INTERPRETATION - A result of INTERPRETING from the act of explaining.
BASED sa BIBLE - A notion or idea that was sourced out from the bible that does not at all carry visible formations of literal content.
@ JOVI ....
Another question as an answer to your question.why prayers are not answered most of the times?
Do you have data's to support your answer that MOST of the time ?
Anyways, people thinks that it was not answered because we feel and expect that GOD owes us . We tend to specifically wait like " after my prayer , I should get an answer in 5 minutes. " It does not work like that. Heck , if that is the case , then GOD would also throw it back to us. Why dis it that MOST of you did not PRAY for THANKSGIVING when I answered your PRAYERS ?
@ SyniTh ...
Didnt I just reminded your first thread to look for the answers instead of asking it ? Nagkalata na diri bai . Heck you can even backread a little more and I posted all the QUESTIONS essential to additional knowledge to those who dont know RCC yet and all these answers are here. Have time to search for it , trust me , it will save you time in asking more questions and makat-on pa ka in the silence and enjoyment of reading.Who's more powerful? " A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
Hi bro, Catholics Do not Worship Saints, Only Jesus
for details feel free to backread as this question has been answered already.
Sto.Nino is a representation of the Child Jesus which means Holy Child.
Pedro Calungsod is a newly canonized saint mao grabe siya kasikat esp sa ato kay Pinoy man
The only mediator for our Salvation is Jesus Christ alone.
Saints are merely intercessors BUT powerful ones...but still intercessors just like whoever interceeds
when you ask a friend to pray for you, that friend becomes your intercessor...so as the Saints.
to answer your Question, of course we know that nothing compares to the Almighty..
so it would be Jesus and Jesus alone, if you'd like to see Him as a Child, then it would be Sto.ninowhich is STILL Jesus.
