Question...RAM need help?

Hi..I have some question, I have a motherboard whos RAM is for DDR PC266 and supports up to 2GB RAM.I let CBX Service upgrade it to 512MB DDR PC400 and it works and still my pc runs normally.My question is,I would like to add another 1GB DDR PC400 Memory,will it run and work normally like before or will it destroy my motherboard?I need ur suggestions...Thanks.

unsa diay model sa imo mobo? base sa imo post makasupport up to 2Gb so wala na siya problema as long as dili molapas sa iyang makaya. If you have further questions, PM me...

check imo board kng mo support ba ug 2ghz.check lng sa iya manual through website kng unsa brand and model sa imo board

Thanks Bros..my mothrboard is RZ-Gigabyte 8VM533M ang model..Naka butang didto kay DDR PC266/PC200 lang.Mao nahibong ko na nidagan gihapon ako DDR PC400,ok ra iya dagan.Musoport ako motherboard ug 2Ghz maximum.Dili bana maka daot o magoverheat ang motherboard?Thanks again. :mrgreen:

brad ani na ang case, if your mobo supports only up to DDR266 makita cguro nimo ron its running a DDR400, but sa tinoud na underclock na ang DDR400 nimo, if you'll check its RAM speed using cpuz ang makita lang nimo is 133MHZ w/c stand for the clock speed of a DDR266 ram. If mag add paka ug another 1G same speed lng gihapon na sa DDR266 kay ma limit mana sa imong motherboard na upto DDR266 ra pud. help this helps ^__^
