    I rephrase nlan nko,

When you say: "That is true , many are what we call PRACTICAL CATHOLICS instead of being DEVOUT CATHOLICS but reading the bible alone does not at all give you justification of knowing the truth." - Unsay pasabot ana?

So tanan church tradition sa Catholic mabasa natu sa Bibliya?

In response to that , it accomodates the confusion of people specially the " FUNDIES " who actually rely on the BIBLE in a manner that they are now looking at it WORD for WORD and ends up LITERALLY. We have a lot of that here in and out of the forums specially those who resort to BIBLE VERSES.

So tanan church tradition sa Catholic mabasa natu sa Bibliya?
When we say the word MABASA , we are attending ourselves of seeing the exact word like CHRISTMAS TREE . Of course you would not see the word CHRISTMAS TREE in the bible but what you will see is the STAR that guided the 3 Magis to Jesus. Mao in every Christmas tree as an example , naay STAR sa itaas.

It is not a matter of READING , it is a matter of UNDERSTANDING.

Bottomline , it is still BIBLICAL BASED.

That is because you wont be expecting the exact word due to a lot of factors like translations from HEBREW to LATIN or GREEK to LATIN and now to ENGLISH kaso our dear brethrens who resorts to WORD for WORD understanding can not at all grasp the idea that you dont read a specific verse in the bible , you understand the entire chapter of the bible aron naay pangalan ug apelyido, kupleto ang detalye.
