Kung pareha ug political party si Lito ug Yapha puwede ang substitution.

I think si Lito O. (PROMDI) ug si Jun Yapha (Lakas-CMD) ug morag naa man sa GO pud...

    here's the code of law:

The rule on substitution of an official candidate of a registered or accredited political party who dies, withdraws or is disqualified for any cause after the last day for the filing of certificates of candidacy is governed by Sec. 77 of the Omnibus Election Code which provides: If after the last day for filing of certificate of candidacy, an official candidates of a registered or accredited political party dies, withdraws or is disqualified for any cause, only a person belonging to, and certified by, the same political party may file a certificate of candidacy to replace the candidate who died, withdrew or was disqualified. The substitute candidate nominated by the political party concerned may file his certificate of candidacy for the office affected in accordance with the preceding sections not later than mid-day of the day of the election, If the death, withdrawal or disqualification should occur between the day before the election and mid-day of election day, said certificate maybe filed with any board of election inspectors in the political subdivision where he is a candidate, or, in the case of candidate to be voted for by the entire electorate of the country, with the Commission. Thus, under the said provision it is necessary, among others, that the substitute candidate must be of the same political party as the original candidate and must be duly nominated as such by the political party.

    Omnibus Election Code

Sec. 77. Candidates in case of death, disqualification or withdrawal of another. - If after the last day for the filing of certificates of candidacy, an official candidate of a registered or accredited political party dies, withdraws or is disqualified for any cause, only a person belonging to, and certified by, the same political party may file a certificate of candidacy to replace the candidate who died, withdrew or was disqualified. The substitute candidate nominated by the political party concerned may file his certificate of candidacy for the office affected in accordance with the preceding sections not later than mid-day of the day of the election. If the death, withdrawal or disqualification should occur between the day before the election and mid-day of election day, said certificate may be filed with any board of election inspectors in the political subdivision where he is a candidate, or, in the case of candidates to be voted for by the entire electorate of the country, with the Commission.

Lito O has credentials, so between nilang duha (if he runs) maglisod siguro ko ug pili between Gwen and Lito O.

But Gwen has the momentum ... kung sa basketball pa, she is now on the run ... kung is substi nato dayon si Lito O., he needs time to warm up pa man ... so my decision is to let Gwen finish her term, and perhaps Lito O. can then replace her.
