I hope the main vision of the Sinulog Mardi Gras had not been long forgotten. The dances, the music is all about the pilgrims offering it to the dear Child Jesus. Fun is always implicated in such celebrations but drinking isnt always necessary which is always and always the root cause of violence and harm.
