hehe not contradicting enough, sir.grabe kaayo ni nga study sir ang pagka-savior ni Jesus og ni God, it's complicated.
To fully understand the way they save us, and why God is the only savior (well, of course kay if kita giluwas(saved) ni Jesus sa atong mga sala, den dili luwason sa Diyos si Jesus, aw, way kaluwasan jud, kay ang Diyos ra man jud ang makabuot sa tanan, hasta ni Hesus..gets? di na ko mobalik pag kutlo sa 1 Corinthians 15:28 oi kapoya balik2x tin-aw man jud kaayo ni:
"Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God's authority, so that God, who GAVE his Son authority over all things, will be utterly SUPREME over everything everywhere." New Living Translation (©2007) )
we need to study the way we were saved through Jesus Christ and how God will save us. Let's go.
We all know Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, but what most of the so-called 'Christians' doesn't know is how God intended it to be. Jesus' death on the cross is just one of the 'ingredients' for it to work.
Deuteronomy 24:16 - "Parents must not be put to death for the sins of their children, nor children for the sins of their parents. Those deserving to die must be put to death for their OWN crimes." New Living Translation (©2007)
1 Peter 2:22 - "He(Jesus) committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth." New International Version
Galatians 1:4 - "Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live." New Living Translation (©2007)
^So, since Jesus didn't commit any sin, and he died for our sins, and every one is subject to his OWN sin, isn't what Jesus did already against what God said? And of course, we cannot say Jesus is an exception kay he is appointed Son of God, because if we will stick to that, if will seem to become that God is a liar and changes his mind? No!...
Numbers 23:19 - "God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?" New Living Translation (©2007)
^so how come wala na nalapas sa gibuhat ni Hesus and gisulti sa Diyos? sayop jud unta, di ba?
So, it's like this:
Christ created his church:
Matthew 16:18 - "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." New International Version (©1984)
which is his body:
Ephesians 1:22-23 - "And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way."
and of course, Christ is the head(see above).
when you have a head, and a body, combine those two and what do you have? A man.
With a 'man', is he named after his body? No, right? He's always named after his head. That's why the church is called the Church of Christ/Christ's Church.
So how did Jesus do it so as not to contradict what God said, by dying for us even though he's sinless? This is what Apostle Paul said:
Ephesians 2:15 -"by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace," New International Version 1984
So Jesus in a way created a 'new man' out of the two, and in a way, made peace with what is written in the Scriptures about each one subject to his own sins, so Christ made the greatest sacrifice: dying for all those who followed him and believed him at that time(not for everybody, as many are telling) and cleansed them instead of those that followed him dying for their own sins..by sheeding his own blood:
Hebrews 9:22 - "..For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness." New Living Translation (©2007)
Acts 20:28 - "Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood." American Standard Version
thus his body, his Church, was cleaned and pure in the process:
Isaiah 1:18 - "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
Forgiven, and cleaned as white as snow!
So why am I informing you this? For this is how Jesus became a savior for us too, by creating his Church. Those outside the true Church(Christ's), the truth hurts.
How is God the ultimate savior? Well, He's planning to have this world a taste of the Lake of Fire(first was water through the Great Flood), then those that are in Christ's(which is in his true Church) will be spared(the same use with Noah's Ark, but an Ark can't withstand fire, right?). And He sent His only begotten Son for the Church to be established. So all in all, right from the start, God is the only savior, for if he didn't send His only Son to us, we're all doomed. So Isaiah 43:11 is true.
So they differ on how they are being a savior to us. God for giving us His Son to create the Church and Jesus for preaching us the Good News and creating the Church.
Hope that helps sir!![]()
*ana ka c jesus ang gitempt ug gi quote ra ni Jesus ang "thou shall not temp the Lord your God" to remind Satan sa iya gibuhat or to remind Jesus himself para d cya matintal ni taning..* yep, sakto bitaw jud ni klaro kaayo baya.
hahaha sir dartzed open your mind for a moment and for a moment try to think of Jesus as a man ha para mapasok jud hehehe.
Gaan takag simple analogy, let's put ourselves in the situation of Taning and Jesus, i'll be Taning(hehehe >) and you'll be Jesus(hallelujiah!)here we go
:
Me: Di ba dartzed nakasulat man nga pasayloon ra kas Diyos sa imo mga sala mao nga pwede ka magpabadlong sa imo mga ginikanan kay pasayloon ra man gihapon ka ni God, di ba?
Dartzed: "It is written, "Honor your father and your mother".
Me: Oi! dili ikaw akong papa ha, og samot dili ikaw akong mama.)
Dartzed: Wa ko nag-ingon nga ako imo papa samot ako dili ako imo mama, nikutlo ra ko sa nakasulat sa Bibliya to remind myself para dili ko makasala sa akong father and mother.
Me: aw, abi ko bag niana ka ikaw akong papa or mama lol)
^hehehe, gets na sir? If wala pa, again, nikutlo si Hesus gikan sa Bibliya to remind himself nga dili niya suwayan ang Diyos. Kay si Hesus mismo naa baya pud siya'y Diyos:
John 20:17 - "Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."
^syaro sir klaro na kaayo ni. If si Jesus mao ang Diyos, kinsa man nang iyang Diyos? Mura'g sa Seventh-Day(if i'm correct) naay Mighty God(Jesus) and Almighty God(Diyos)LOL duha kabuok diyos.
another analogy sir ha:
Dartzedkita'g kwarta gibutang ra sa lamesa sa tag-iya dayon gibiyaan. 1M petot) hala! damn! O_O
Dartzed: "It is written, 'Thou shall not steal.'" (Gibalik2x 100x para di madala sa temptation).
Dartzed: wew, may nalang nisalir. Bye2x 1M!
^In-ana ra pud ang gibuhat ni Hesus sir, iya jud giremind iya self by citing a phrase in the Bible to fight of temptation.![]()
waaaahhhhh sorry sir if na-offend ta mu.
Tin-aw man ang meaning sa akong gipangpost sa tanan kabalo mobasa og mosabot og english..if gibasa lang jud tuod, if wala gibasa kay taas ra then mahadlok mo nga mausab inyo POV(being closed-minded, in-ana pud ko sauna before searching for the truth about God and doing A LOT of research), then tabla ra jud. Tan-awa ra nang quality sa mga gi-post nako nga explanation sir o dili mana ako nga opinion, ang Bibliya man ako gipastorya ana wa man koy own interpretation ana.
Sa pag-ingon pa lang nimo nga abi nimog si Mary kay sinless nga na-enlighten ka sa truth(Jesus is the only man who didn't sin), lipay na kaayo ko oi, di lalim hago hahaha kas utok.
Mao peace ra jud ko pirmi basta in-ani nga discussion, kay klase2x man ang tawo nga makabasa or makadungog og mga in-ani.(he Parable Of The Sower And The Seed (Matthew 13:1-23)
Mary na pud ta sir? (Holy Mother of God? God has a mom!!! O_O)
fish!.. hehehe ^_^
@acescream
mao nani ron naloko nah... kahibaw ka bro actually you don't need to give me ug daghan au nga verses, ikaw raman nagtwist ani tanan deli man ako...
Isaiah 43:11 I am, I am the Lord: and there is no savior besides me(God the Father). unsa may nakalisod sabton ana nga verse?..
you said Jesus has the authority to do things then Jesus can do things sad like God can do but deli cya matawag nga God..
ana ka God the Father ug Christ the savior "kabantay ka gilahi jud cla?" nya imo pa gibutangan ug verse i dont even get how the hell those verses connect kay daghan kaau why do you always keep things complicated?..
nya karon nigawas nsad nang term nga "ultimate savior" asa mana nako mabasa sa bible?..
hay man kaha ing.ania pagthink... God the Father is God he can save us through his own Son Jesus Christ w/c is the sacrifice kay without Jesus Christ there will be no sacrifice and God can't save us..if naa verse nga miingon God can save us from sin without Jesus please post it here nya ipost sad kung unsaon ta pagsave ni God the Father.. and since there is only one savior clearly stated in the bible then Jesus can also be God..
Father = God = authority = Savior(Isaiah 43:11 "no other savior but God");
Savior = authority = Jesus;
but Jesus can't be called God..

bro you can't give an example like that ipamarehas nimo c Jesus nko nga makasasala.. 1st kahibaw gud cya nga anak cya sa ginuo, 2nd kahibaw cya unsa iya buhaton w/c is sundon ang nahisulat.. you are giving us the picture nga si Jesus nagthink nga cya tendency nga matintal ug walay salig sa iya amahan kay iya man girationalize mao na nisulti cya quoted sa scripture "thou shall not tempt the Lord your God"..
Dartzedkita'g kwarta gibutang ra sa lamesa sa tag-iya dayon gibiyaan. 1M petot) hala! damn! O_O
-kani palang bro nga example sayop na kaau, kabaw ka b4 ka makathink anang reply sa ubos nga "though shall not steal" it is a reply 1st sa imo self nagthink nga imo kuhaon ang 1M mao na ang reaction "hala! damn! O_O". meaning natental nka sa imo mind palang wala pa nimo buhata remember(nakasala naka sa huna2, sapulong, sa pagbuhat, ug sa wala pagbuhat sa kinhanglan buhaton) you just directly stained the sinless image of Jesus-
Dartzed: "It is written, 'Thou shall not steal.'" (Gibalik2x 100x para di madala sa temptation).<<--- in reply para d nimo mabuhat ang naa sa imo githink..
Dartzed: wew, may nalang nisalir. Bye2x 1M! <<---- same here relief is the sign nga wala nimo nabuhat ang imo githink..
para nako ang "thou shall not temp the Lord your God" was meant for satan not for Jesus self to remind himself.. he can't forget the Word of God coz He is the Son of God..
