All the time ko mg jumper sa una when i had problems sa ako battery or alternator. Its fine and there are no cons to it. Just attach each cable one at a time to its respective terminal and make sure the terminals are parallel, not in series. Better get a decent jumper cable and make sure the gauge is thick so more current can pass through...Tagam ko sa baratohon like 1000ish php low quality like..ako g jumper ako auto and still d ghapon mo start...so i used 2 cheap jumper cables and boom ni andar Dont be fooled by the insulator sa wire ky most have thick insulators and very small gauge wire.
