We all understand that origins of the sinulog is celebrating the acceptance of christianity here in cebu. There are people who recognize that and still treasure the true meaning of it but let us all take into consideration that sinulog is a CELEBRATION, therefore we have the right to express that through partying and street dancing. Drinking alcohol and being drunk is a given since we are all celebrating in our own way. So I strongly disagree on banning the street parties. The authorities should focus more on the security by patrolling and guarding the streets and just give leeway to the street parties.

agree to this, our authorities should be responsible enough to do their duties in guarding the streets....dakong kabalbalan ng ila nga i ban ang street parties kada sinulog....it only shows that some of our policemans cannot do their responsibilities in managing security during the event...
