also a D700 user here. i had a hands-on sa d600 and sad to say sa D700 ghapon ko. maybe improved gamay ang high iso handling and taas ug pixel count but overall i'd still choose the 700. layo ra ang 600 sa 700. IMHO.

I am a 700 user and if I have extra dough then I will consider getting this... this is already a decently priced 2nd 700... about high-ISO, AF points and the new extras of the 600 I hope you know how to use it and have any idea about it and not just reading reviews and after you now think as a master of this gadget, now thats funny... the 600 is the last FX body I will consider in buying basing on my shooting habit...

On T: this is a fairly priced 2nd hand item and you wont find a price like this for the battgrip (which in itself is expensive) og ang memory card. comparing it to the d600 is not practical since both are built for different uses. D600 is made for those trying to shift from dx to fx but not shell out more money. d700 is built sturdier and tougher (tougher meaning much more weather sealing) and has way more external controls basing on the cameras i've had a chance to test out (from friends and relatives). Kung ako pa-pilion mag D700 ko oi, larger sensor means it shallower DOF, sturdy, oh yeah CF CARD slot! hehehe. upsies for you TS if only i have the money. ^___^

oh yeah if makig-lalis mo og video, ayaw nalang lalisi kay ang d600 kaonon ra ang video capabilities sa canon 60D or 5DmkII. peace!

I think nobody is doubting the ability of d700. of course capable camera xa, no doubt about it.

but ang argument, what if naa kay 80k ra for body. Would it really justify the 69k price tag? when naa na newer generation fx. not just d600.

sa 75k price tag, most people would go for brandnew or at least with warranty, and similar specs.

if naa man difference sa IQ, ambot unsa.. pero higher iso, noise control, pildihon jud ang older sensor. anytime anyday. unless ISO 100 - 800 ra jud imo need. then moot jud ang difference..

now AF points, depende sa need ug sa skill. ako i prefer daghan, so d700 ko. still not enough for the price.

viewfinder coverage - importante sa uban, depende sa client. naa clients dili ganahan mo crop. (pero wala sa duha naay 100% coverage, so tabla)

weather sealing/build - dili tanan tao mo salig ani, unless need jud nimo i sugat ug bagyo/sandstorm imong 70k gear.

warranty - pildi na daan ang 2nd hand. (importante sa tanan, maski personal warranty mo daginut pa)

video - way gamit nako, pero mas maayo kung naa.


so dili lang price ang huna huna on diri, ang importante asa nimo gusto igasto imong "only" 80k budget.

pero pang hatag, aw d700 ko. nothing to lose man ko.. pero kung mo gasto ko, nya maguba ra inig marso. paksit ko.

wala man guro na suya diri, dili lang pud ta mo mislead when naa mas better option.


kung mo exaggerate ko, pautangon tamo ug 80k basta kaning 69k na d700 inyo paliton. palit kaha mo?

Para mahuman nani ing-ani nalang, kung gusto jud mo mopalit ug D700 adto nalang mo kay macy's kay naay secondhand didto 60k lang unya 28k actuations pa unya naa na battery grip. Pero isa lang ang akong ikasulti, didto nalang jud mo sa D600 kay layo ra kaayo ang D700 when it comes to low light photography bisag suwayan pa, pustaanay pa...

the price 69k includes the battery grip, cf card and extra battery. i paid around 8-9k at the time for all of that. i don't know what those would cost now when you add those to a new unit. so please consider that. also, the strap is brand new. someone is even offering to buy that for 1k as he must have seen it in the pic. so please do the math and you'll know what the body itself is selling for. i do prefer to sell it all as a package.
