    had dinner there Friday night with my mother, sister and a family friend. we had the Bicol express, the lechon kawali and the paella. really disappointing.

    our reaction when they placed the dishes on the table was one of surprise. the dishes, except for the lechon kawali which BTW was too bland with a thick layer of fat and too small for Php195, was unrecognizable: the paella cebuana was really "sad" for Php195 - it had a few pieces of mussels and a couple of shrimps. the Bicol express, according to my sister, had too little coconut milk. "wala'y lami" (@ Php95) was what she said about it. i've never had the Bicol Express before and had planned to have my first go at the Abuhan. changed my mind the moment they laid the dish on the table.

    their calamansi juice, which i had, did not at all taste like calamansi juice. although it was relatively cheap at Php35. the bottled water though was mahal - Php35!!!

    the service was okay but the music they played? UGH!

    the lighting fixtures and the blinds(?) were really beautiful though.

    left the place still hungry. not going back there except maybe when i finally decide to try the sizzling pochero, which is said to be very good.

    lami ilang pochero...ang naka bati lang kung hapit na sila magclose pagngan na nila ug suga ang costumer..

    BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Why? Here's why. We ate last night January 7, 2013 with a group of 7. To enumerate what happened:
    1. The waitress who handled us is impatient in taking our order. She wanted to get our order when in fact the menu was handed some few minutes ago.
    2. The same waitress took the empty plates without asking if we were done eating. This is really a bad practice. She even took the plate of one of our company who was not done yet. Is she really on a hurry?
    3. Large Sizzling Pochero = 75% Bone + 20% fats + 5% meat. Not WORTH the money you pay.
    4. Paid what is on the bill - we left but have not heard that they were thankful to have served us.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. Look for another restaurant to dine instead.
