Something wrong with PC when windows shuts down...

Hello istoryans... been a long time since i posted in the forums section... anyway, i would like to ask for help and advice from PC experts/enthusiasts.. my brother decided to build a new gaming rig... he bought parts in cebu and then we assembled the PC here in our probinsiya... here are the specs:

MOBO: Asus P8B75-M LE
PROCIE: Intel Core i3-3220
RAM: 1x4GB Kingston Hyper X memory 1600C9D3B1/4G
HDD: Samsung 160 GB (temporary lang sa)
PSU: Silverstone ST50F-ESsentials 500w
CASING: Cooler Master Elite K350 with Window

the problem is: we installed windows 7 ultimate x64... we installed some MB dirvers and other utilities and after installation, kung i-shutdown ang PC, ang monitor ra ang mapalong pero ang fan sa chassis ug ang cpu fan dili mu-off... then ang LED sa mobo siga ra gihapon plus ang ODD mu-function pa gyud... gatuo ko nga drivers ra problema... gipadagan nako siya in safe mode pero same gihapon... ako na lang gi-reinstall balik ang OS, same lang gyud gihapon... unsa kaha problema ani? then ako mabantayan basta padulong siya shutdown, naa murag pitik (clicking, murag relay) nga sound then mapalong na ang monitor pero ang PC nag-on lang gihapon... dili ba kaha ni motherboard or PSU? need help... thanks fellow istoryans...

have you tried to reset cmos?

pangitaa lang nang jumper sa imo motherboard naka butang clrtc, move ang jumper to 2-3 position for 10secs, then ibalik.

inig boot nimo, enter bios and restore or load cmos defaults

a, ok... nakabantay ko ana niya... kanang jumper mura siyag plastic nga "cap" nga gamay kaayo... sige sir.. ako sulayan ugma... thanks... mu-update lang ko kung unsa man gani...

additional information sad diay mga sir... as i've mentioned before, if i-shutdown nako ang windows, ang monitor ra mapalong then ang fans (chassis and CPU) and ODD gadagan and gasiga ang LED sa mobo, the only way na totally mapalong ang PC is to long press the power button or ibot gyud ang power... inig on nako balik sa PC, wala man sad ko makakita ug "windows has not been shut down properly blah, blah. blah" nga message, so meaning, shutdown ang windows completely... anyway, sulayan sa nako ugma ang clear CMOS... ty again...

Genuine OS ni Bro? Suwayi kono Windows XP kung naa ra gihapon ang problem.

dili genuine.. but never had any problems with other PCs before pero i'll try other OS to be sure... thanks bro..

Bitaw Bro suwayi lain OS kung same ra gihapon ang problem aw sa hardware part na, then reseat ang mga parts. Kung naa ra gihapon problem aw panahon na para replacement.

hello peeps.. never got the chance to troubleshoot the PC again kay work pa ko... anyway, i'll try this afternoon...
@harhar: di lang ko musulay ug lain nga OS bro, win 7 lang gihapon ako gamiton pero this time lain nga installer... kay murag sayangan ko sa potential sa PC... dako biya kaayo nakaplastar ng "Designed for Windows 7" sa karton sa mobo... hehehe... then i will definitely try reseating the ram and other parts... pero una sa nako sulayan ang clear CMOS... di ko mahimutang diri sa opisina kay sige ko hunahuna sa PC... hehehehe... suroy sa ko sa field... i'll post updates later... thanks mga bro...
