Mathew 26:26-28
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
i believe tanang Church/faith,religion and their leaders even the followers would claim that their respective belief systems are free from errors.
that is on a personal level of course as only God knows the absolute.
as for me, i believe Catholicism is, if there are "errors" i believe those are not genuine errors but merely a product of
misconceptions,misunderstanding,misinterpretations and other misses..
'cause after all, church leaders are still human beings, sucject to failure and sin
however we trust in faith that the appointed is anointed.
though human in nature BUT is of great divine influence, just like how Jesus overcame the world
just like His followers and everyone else take on the world.
just like how we ourselves in our own lives take on Life's Hardships in God's grace.
because we are all humans, it is important to trust our elders(leaders of the church, as how Jesus taught about repect and obedience, as how early Christians are considered "teachers of the faith")for guidance
trust each other( Loving others as ourselves) for fellowship and spiritual assistance
and depend on Jesus Christ( personal relationship with Jesus) for personal convictions.
Bro dili akoy gahimo nilang saint bro, haha, If naay buhat nga dalaygon kaayo ang usa ka tawo bro it will always be a reason to praise that person, after death it dont really matter where he went as long as he made some sort of good difference here on earth, i dont see anything wrong about assuming bro, as long as they have good reason to, it's premature but it's not the bad kind of premature that you are trying to imply here.. so whether or not nalangit it dont really matter, what we are looking at here is the goodness that they did whilst they were here on earth.
in prayer there are no rules bro as far as im concerned, as long as you offer it heartily it will always reach the ears of your God..
regarding morality, what is not subject to change is what Jesus said about Loving others as ourselves
how to love others would depend on how eager we are to follow this commandment and our relationship with Jesus
that's why there are differences in how Catholic Chuches/Leaders would act in certain circumstances
some priests can really resemble Jesus while others could be the opposite..hehehe
but in the case of what the Vatican says, the whole church is subject to follow
but on a personal level, it would always go back to what our faith tells us
mao imporatante jud ang personal relationship with our savior as much as church teachings and
traditions/practices are needed.
tungod sa kadaghan sa mga faith defenders dri i have no choice but speak their language, apil pud ko'g defend2 nyahaha, whatever happened to the other thread?
