Food supplements and herbal medicine are not design to cure any diseases. I think both using herbs and food supplements and any scientific approach cannot be compare.

Both are design for different purpose. Eating vegetables, putting herbs in our food, and fruits is one way of patronizing the use of herbal medication,we do this everyday to have a healthy life and prevent any diseases. Whereas going to a doctor to have check-up and buying medication to cure a specific virus or bacteria is a scientific way.

Both can co-exist but in different situation. But defeating cancer, there is no other way but thru scientific procedure such as radiation and chemo-therapy. This is one weapon at present time that we can combat against this killer disease. And the most important, prayers.

Don't wish me nga magka-cancer bro, kay cancer survivor na ko, thru amputation and chemotherapy. And I'm not the only survivor. You probably don't even have an idea pila ka tawo ang naluwas sa chemo. Adto sa Onco ward sa Cebu Doc ug pangutana pila ka tawo nabulahan sa chemo.

If you knew someone nga naimpas tungod sa cancer, probably stage 4 na na daan, or stage 3 nga gisugdan ang chemo, pero wa gitiwas.

well, daghan man gani nabulahan sa chemo but mas daghan pud ang nifail. did you bother asking pila ang deaths compared sa nisurvive? i may sound aggressive but i'm not against sa chemo. unfortunate lang nga till now, mao ra nay available as mainstream nga treatment. coz it's all about business, it's a big business. cure for cancer has been available since early 1900's pa. for some reason, dili lang ka progress because big pharmas are preventing them. if you think mlms are greed because of their system, para nako mas greed ang system sa big pharmas. same ra pud ni sa oil industry, early 1900's pa pud available na ang electric cars, but financial giants supported oil because they saw big potential ani sa business. check this documentary na lang, medyo taas but worth watching. here, you'll find out nganong big pharmas gihapon ang gamit to treat cancer.



kaseryos ba nimo sa akong 'prevent-all' hehe. that's only my opinion. believer ko ug food supplements mao na nga makaingon ko nga makaprevent ug mga sakit. when i say 'all', i mean most diseases. kanang ilang claims nga 'superfoods', they are taken from fruits and veggies. mas moprefer pa gani ko ani compared to eating them cooked, especially veggies. the moment imong lutuon ang utan, daghan vitamins and minerals ang mawala ana. dili xa as effective as those naa sa capsules. if abundant imong system ani, then strong imong immune system and easier to prevent sa mga sakit kay your system can fight them man. but im not saying that it can cure, prevent lang.

If you're going to bring up the statistical comparison between survival rate and deaths in cancer, then try to bring up the statistical comparison between survival rate and deaths in alternative medicine. You will probably find out that there is no comparison at all, simply because the CURRENT alternative approach is a hit and miss affair, or taghap taghap, AS OF THE MOMENT.

I am not shunning out alternative medicine. In fact, I would want it to be an ideal replacement for expensive treatments, but until they are reliable enough, again, I will never entrust my life to that approach.

Effectiveness may be the same. Both or of high quality. But mind the cost.
