Jesus had 120 disciples/direct students. The 12 Apostles were the most senior students and had higher spiritual attainment and authorized by Jesus to become teachers before his physical body was dead. 6 of them were co-students of Jesus with John the Baptist as teacher. John had them continue with Jesus when he was arrested before beheaded.

Among the 120 disciples/direct students were Jesus' brothers, Mary his mother, and Mary Magdalene his wife. His father Joseph died when he was a student in a secret school in India.

aw hehehe. naa didto ako answer bro, nakapinan lng to support. walai babae ky ubos ubos pa man ang attainment. Ang 12 apostles pud bro, nagpabilin sila sa Israel ug silingan dapit while si Mother Mary ug Mary Magdalene kuyog ni Jesus pagsibat sa India after crucifiction. Si Peter ky sige giingnan ni Jesus nga kuyog niya sa India, but pabilin siya, naa problem lisod ug lakaw dili kaya. sorry, wala lain answer to support.

anyways, If Jesus was known as the King of the Jews, mao na ang hinungdan mao gi crucify siya ky Pilate thought maghimo siya ug iyang Kingdom of which Israel under sa Rome. nganong naapil man ang Romans ug dili mga Jews? considered kaha sila nga sakop ni Jesus, nga sa Jews ra man siya King?

Pontiff means Chief or High Priest Jovs and in the RCC, ang pinaka Chief priest is ang Pope..
mao Pontiff.
Historically, the term pontiff in ancient Rome before Christianity has been the term for priests
then later applied to any high or chief priest
Romans were pagan then before Christianity
when Rome embraced Christianity, therefore referring to the Pope as the Roman Pontiff
since the Pope is the Chief priest of RCC
