The Bimmer as all bimmers do, will depreciate faster and have a higher maintenance cost. So naturally you will have an easier time selling your Subaru in the near future at a higher price. Maybe the banker in you will consider this above anything else?
Its only here in ph that bmw depreciates that way, i think all premium cars do except for japan branded vehicles.
Yup, only in the ph gyud... which is kind of weird considering the high initial ownership cost.
But, I think it might be due to the 2nd hand market here mostly having buyers that cannot deal with the maintenance costs of a bimmer. Well, that is actually good news if you are looking for a 2nd hand one![]()
The high maintenance cost is a killer plus parts availability. I've heard (so far as Cebu is concerned) that Volvo owners have it worst.
Japanese made cars even the luxuries have a higher resale value due in part to parts availability and lower maintenance cost. Borromeo once said that of all the cars they sell, the BMWs are the most repossessed. Even some rich people eventually give up.
Well as they say, you have to pay to play
, and if you have the passion, they you'll reap the SHEAR DRIViNG PLEASURE, but mind you, all BMW M vehicles have a higher resale value, only a noob would think that a 316i cost the same as a 320i, let alone an M3.
