The current practice of the Church (not sure if this has been going on all along) is or has always been to perform mass even on people who committed suicide. According to CCC, the Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives and we should not despair of their souls bec. by ways known to Him alone, God can provide salutary repentance on these dearly departed. Also, grave psychological disturbances, anguish or grave fear of hardship, suffering or torture can diminish the responsibility of these poor ones.

Our family recently lost a member this year and my mom asked if our prayers for this particular loved one will be of avail even if he doesn't go to heaven. Since I didn't have an immediate answer to this I went to the Blessed Sacrament for further enlightenment. I can't recall in stark detail where I got the answer from but the reply I got was that the grace goes back to us who prayed for the soul. Makes sense, I thought. Bec. God, being the sole dispenser of grace never wants even a single one to go to waste.

It would be wrong to think thatabi kay naay donation , itandi dayon nato sa GRASYA or something .

There are reasons why such is valued at . First , mao ni ang forms of livelihood sa pari . Ikaduha , unless the person / party provides the transportation and need of that person and the people assisting the priest can deliver then that is still considered " grasya " with a monetary value . Wala nay libre karong panahuna and I know a lot of priest also who doesnt even accept donations at all .

If you guys only resort to " MONEY " and relate them to the RCC PRIEST , it is age old and weak if ang objective ninyo is to make an issue .
