Here is part of the statement from DOTC.

PIla gani to ang penalty para sa masakpan nga "nangilad" sa ilang helmet? Substandard nga gi butangan ug ICC sticker? 20,000 pesos ba to? UNya, karon nga naay may daghang baligya sa mga malls nga substandard nga helmet nga naay ICC, kinsa man ang ma linti-an ani inig tig dakop na, ang rider ba o ang mall nga nag baligya?

Big posibility ang customer.... coz they will just consider your story about mall sellers as an alibi. They will tell you, you should know or you should pick the brands on their lists to make sure.

sa tingin ko hindi pa na post dito kung ano ang kaibahan ng ICC stickers para sa helmets at ICC stickers para sa appliances.. I've seen 2011 ICC stickers for both and I don't see any difference except for the serial numbers.. even the holograms are the same..

di kaya nasa serial numbers ang identification? example: those that start with 56 are for helmets? hmmmm..

nope my zebra starts with 60.

ICC stickers from appliances is so delicate. If you rip it off, the silver part will peel off from the plastic, so it's not easy to rip and paste it again.

Ask lang ko diri para makasure before ko mupalit jd og new helmet kay sayang akong titan oe, di na magamit. Close mn siguro ang dti Dec.31 kay holiday. tsk. Makapalit jd ko bag.o helmet ani dah.

Dili na. December 28 ra kutob ang office sa DTI and that was the last day.

Mao sad. But naa lagi sa list ang brand pero substandard man sad pero naay ICC? Check out Gaisano Metro colon, they have substandard helmets that are on the list but, again, it's substandard unya tag 500+ ra. Ka luoy sad sa maka palit noh unya madakpan lang. Gaisano SRP also is selling substandard EXSOL helmets naa pay naka post nga certification from DTI nga naka pasar ang maong helmets sa ilang standard. Nag post ko about ana sa DTI FB page pero gi delete lang sa mga amaw ang akong post.
