I think ang imong nakuha na unit is the goophone i5 lite version which is only dual core (MTK MT6577 SoC) and with 1GB RAM.

Based kasi sa pag-google ko sa MediaTek, they just announced the release of MTK MT6589 SoC last Dec 12, 2012 and according to them, phones that has this chip inside will be available early next year pa.

And based also on my search , the price of 249 USD, is for the lite version. if you want to get the quad core version, you have to add 100 USD which accordingly not yet available pa daw...

Thats correct boss... how ever ang dili available is the tegra 3 version of the goophone... based on antutu benchmark this is running 1.4GHz MTK MT6589 quad-core processor and 2 GB of ram... is it accurate?? i dont know.. I also have my doubts...
