The assurance of salvation of those who believe in the Lord Jesus to be their saviour is not based on what we feel, what we do and who we are. It is based on what the Lord did for us. When the Lord said "it is finished"(John 19:30), why should we not believe it? The dept of sin is already paid in full. God is satisfied and the payment of Christ is accepted by God. Why should we not accept it? That is faith. Faith means a total dependence on what the Lord did to us Christ Jesus. We cannot save ourselves, only God can.

Now do not worry on that you do not feel save right now. What matters most if what God feels right now toward you if you ask forgiveness of your sins and believe on Him in your heart. Forgiveness is actually a promise to those who ask forgiveness and believe in Him.

The Lord knows you cannot do that if you are save, because that is not the nature of God. So if you are save you really cannot kill. This what the bible says "For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning." (John 8:44). Those who are murderers are not children of God because they are children of the devil. But even if you commit a little sin, still qualifies you to be a sinner and condemned, but still God still can forgive you. Therefore you are still save.

God's forgiveness is the same as He is. its limitless. No one deserves His forgiveness. If only not because of his life and nature, we would not be able to be like Him, who doesnt murder.
