it was eye-candy all-throughout. Definitely has differences compared to the book (not gonna spoil though)--but it doesn't take away from the narrative. As what many critics noted, it is a visual masterpiece.

^ Have read all over the net na visually appealing jud. Very excited too see on how the narrative went. It seems hard to make a good movie out from a narrative driven book. But then, si Ang Lee na.

i like how a theater in Paris did for the premiere. The audience were actually sitting on floating boats.
