OK, i respect that. So what is the concept of Atheism about Authority? Does the Concept of Atheism supports the idea of authority? that its okay to follow some other peoples ideas/orders even if you haven't Personally tested that it is true?

if it fits the moral standards of your time and society well then follow it.. as simple as that.. i think it's a common misconception that we need God in order to know what is right,. This actually reminds me of a certain foundation called Tzu Chi, this foundation is a regular visitor in my workplace giving food to students and donating gifts every Christmas., they dont have a concept about God, nor have they mentioned it everytime they conduct value formation every week.. now have you wondered why this people do good even though they dont have that God concept?

Its really Not that simple, Because the Moral standards of our times is based on a concept that there is a Supreme being. The concept of a supreme being giving us Guidelines is the Very reason why ni exist pa tah karun. If you will trace the History, ang atung mga balaod nga gi follow karun gikan na sa mga grupo or tribu nga nagtuo nga naay Supreme being. Bisag unsa nga Primitive nga civilization naa juy God mao nga nahiusa na sila kay naa silay supreme leader or God who gave them commandments. Do you think ancient people will survive if they practice individualism? i dont think so.

What confuses me is that Atheism promotes Individualism but will always refer to standards of Society as their bases, society that is influenced by the concept of a supreme authority who provided the basic laws. They want to get out of the concept of Gods Authority but will FOLLOW another form of Universal Law or authority given and created by other people which most of the time they dont agree.

Ya that is true, our ancestors always believed in Supreme beings and with it came moral standards and laws may they be atrocious or not..

like i said in the other post atheists dont promote individualism, although we share the same belief but we have different outlook when it comes to morality.. the only thing that separates atheists and theists is the belief in God, nothing more,. lest you know that we believe in morality also if it is beneficial to all, whether or not it came from this belief in a Supreme being, it don't really matter.. case to point.. RH bill, some Christians are in favor with it some are not., Some atheists are also in favor with it and some also are not., we may have different belief but that dont mean we have different morality also.. If mkasugat kag atheist nga ni promote ug individualism please judge that person as he is individually, and know that not all atheists share the same moral belief.
