Beware of Class A Samsung Galaxy SIII - im a victim

Yesterday I bought what seemed to be a genuine S3
I can say I know how to kilatis a counterfeit but yesterday was a first
The phone I bought was a Pebble Blue 16gb S3

Built quality was S3
Weight was S3
Single sim
No antenna
3g + Wifi
Native 3g calling
Quick response phone
High quality screen. Pics from my SD looked awesome
Seemed official android because:
Google play official
Android version tapping in settings showed the android icon(genuine samsung characteristic)
Everything about the phone is S3 jud
Bootscreen is samsung
Imei is confirmed SIII online
Although naay carrier bootscreen pud
Welcome - which is australia/new zealand prepaid

I only noticed 2 problems
Cam is blueish and
Signal and 3g speed is not at par

I assumed it was just a software prob since it was running a cfw

Hence I had a technician to have it reverted to official jellybean

Even the technician got tricked. If wala ma connect sa pc, dli jud mahibawan. It looked real.
His reasons were because dli makita ang samsung modem and lahi ang recovery software
He wanted me to have it checked sa samsung store but I didn't have time. Wa nako mu ask ug second opinion

I now have second thoughts for the phone
I spent more than 15k for a counterfeit

I just hope he is wrong though
Because of the probability of software tweaks that altered the phone...

the phone is working great
even my friends who are using S3 never knew until i said so

aesthically, no difference halos ang phone
sd and sim slots the same
size and weight the same
perfect fit ang back cover of the genuine unit on my phone and likewise my back cover to the genuine unit

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS
MicroUSB slot is inverted
ang sa orig kay ang wide side sa likod

sorry to hear about this incident sir. i hope dili na fake. na shock jud ko nga nahitabo ni nimo kay you are one of the most meticulous and knowledgeable istoryan i have observe here in istorya

naka experience man sad gud ko ani ika 3 times jud ko naka meet up ug s3 and korean kuno ila version one is 16.5k ang usa 15k and ang usa nisugot 13k each kay duha ako paliton for me and my hubby. apan sa tulo nga ako na meet up wala jud koy gipalit bisan usa kay pag abot sa cam lahi jud siya plus ang butanganan pa jud sa sim lahi ra and i felt nga medyo bug-at.

as in daghan kaayo clone nga s3 karon and ang seller mo claim nga mao lahi ilang s3 kay korean version ila item. good thing nakasulay na ko ug s3 nga korean and wala man antenna ako first nasulayan tapos ang 2nd naa.

i hope ma resolve ra ni happy holidays.

Ang likod S3 jud kaau. Sim ug sd slots on the right position
Ang kabug atan even the plastic back covers' elasticity. Hahay
I think S3 jud ni na alter lng sa cfw
I've seen the fakes and ofcourse the real deal and its a pass with flying colors
Kung mangingilad palang ko, hagbay ra ni nahalin as orig. But its not me

Dismayed because of the news but for some reason, my hopes are high


The phone is working pretty fine
And is serving its purpose

much better jud TS na ipa check nlng jud na sa samsung store just to make sure and answer your hanging questions,etc..,atot ng.duha2 njud non ko palit og s3 dah..,tsk!,tsk!..,hope ma ok rna imo prob TS..,up for your thread..

in my experience, it could most likely be the custom firmware causing the blue-ish camera and the slow 3G speed since custom roms are again, custom, the drivers they're using might not be working properly. anyway, up for you



also, if you want a second opinion, i could gladly check your phone for you, no fee just for the check.
i could also update it to the official jelly bean if ever u want to.

dili guro na fake boss oi... naa man guro s3 gikan gawas nga lahi pud og recovery...

sa IMEI lang daan sakto man kaha ang details sa phone...

besides ma ilhan man fake especially sa scrolling sa screen smooth ba or dili and running some programs kung lag ba gyud kau...

its a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9, naa software sa google play mura bench mark.... try to run that daw, kay naka suway ako amigo naa na sa 3rd place or 4th place ang S3... ang first place kay HTC man guro...

kita ko ug mga s3 nga tag 13-15k sa other buy and sell site.. murag mao man cguro ni.. its unbelievable that they are selling it for this price mao i wont bother texting them for more information..

i've read nga ang S3 sa australia/new zealand kay lahi ang model. it's I9300T. basin mao na cya bro. the reason nga I9300 ang nakasuwat dira sa settings>about phone (if I9300 ba jud) is because gi flash cguro cya ug I9300 ROM which is compatible raman sa I9300T nga model. and the reason nganong medyo hinay ang iyang signal reception is lahi nga frequency band ang iyang naka tuned in to. search google lang on I9300T for more info. hope mao jud ni cya bro. official samsung man gihapon na cya, sa australia networks ra jud mu focus
