Why update your BIOS?

so unless i start having problems with my current BIOS or naa koy bag.ong hardware nga di mo work, most likely dha na ko angay mag update sa BIOS. salamat ninyo mga sir. gg jud siguro akng mobo kung wa ko ning ask ug una, malasa nalng sad kung ni dayon jud ko ug update nya ma timingan ug brownout. hahaha!

yup, kana lang naa ka probs sa HW nmo... like sa ram compatibility (panagsa ra ni hinoon mahitabo) granting, on spec ka ani ha... then kun ang BIOS gi release prior sa new architecture... like sa mga H61, P67 ug H67 mobos na gi release ang BIOS nila before the Ivy Bridge... sa ani na case, ang Sandy Bridge (32 nm) pa man ang micro-code nila pero, compatible ug pin-out ang IB (22 nm) nya... so, before maka gamit ka sa IB CPU, mag upgrade ka's BIOS nimo para ma tarong sya ug identify sa mobo... the same is true sa AMD...

kun sa add-on cards lang, no need ka mag update sa BIOS... you just need to update the driver...
