M@rv|n:
Have you been in Lahug's barangay hall years ago? I have been...it was gross (this is the best way I could describe it). Now, the barangay hall stands asa a symbol of the the improvements.
MAD just recently had a project to aid the old people of Lahug, whether they were Tommy's or her supporters. I would love to attach the link, but I just forgot exactly when that was. She had a flu vaccination for the old people. (thanks to her initiative of approaching businesses and the residents of Lahug, with no help from the Mayor)
She has made sure there was delivery of basic services to the people to the best of her power and reach, up to the point of using her own resources.
She has had mass weddings for the poor who can not afford to get maried (this happens every year in December).
She has had foot paths and bridges created for the areas in Lahug that is not accessible.
Whenever there is a calamity in Lahug, automatically, bisan unsa orasa...she will leave what she is doing and be there ASAP to assist the people. Hands on siya ani.
Oh and did I forget to mention, she awarded by the president, last last year I believe, as the Most Outstanding Barangay Captain in the whole Philippines. Her Lupong Tagapamayapa was awarded the Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa under her leadership.
And honestly, there were so much more but I don't think I can enumerate them all.
Well Marvin, if MAD loses, there is no shame in losing. It is better to have tried and lost than never have tried at all. Atleast she will not have to wonder about the what if's...atleast that is what I believe....hehehe! If it is her time, it will be her time.![]()
