I also believe nga dili dec 25 exactly ang natawhan ni Kristo PERO if mag present tag rason, dapat naay basis nga FACTS.
Take note nga ang pagans ni-follow sa Julian Calendar. Ang Santo Papa sa Roma gi recalculate ang calendar, mao atong gi follow karon mao na ang Gregorian Calendar ni Pope Gregory the Great.

December 25 in the Gregorian calendar is January 6th in the pagan Julian Calendar. Therefore, Saturnalia would be celebrated in December 13 of the Gregorian calendar.

If the Pope therefore is hell-bent on following and incorporating the pagan practice into Christianity, it would be logical for him to reset Christmas to December 13 instead, in sync with the ancient pagan festival.

Nya if ang Bibliya mag Hisgot ug kasaulugan, ang tuyo ana is ang Pagpahinumdum dili ang pag reenact.
Yes, Christmas is a remembrance of Jesus' birth. Wala ni ingon ang Katoliko nga si Jesus mo-back to zero every December 25th.

Im just amazed that you and your friends failed to give a DEFINITE and EXACT answer from the Bible, yet you have the guts to criticize the practice of the earliest Christians.

If "probable month" ra man diay ang inyong gipangita, all months are possible -- only with varying degrees of accuracy. If we celebrate it in December, there is a 1/12 probability that Christ was born on that moth. Therefore, this will not make it wrong to celebrate Christmas in any month, including December.

Ang akoa is i-clarify because ang TS mismo ug ang ubang ni-post diri maoy gikontrahan ang praktice sa Katoliko. Now, its funny because they cannot even give EXACT and DEFINITE answers, despite claiming bible based ra jud diay kuno sila.

The best they can give is extra-biblical, fallible SPECULATION from "scholars".

Does a fallible SPECULATION do better than the tradition followed by the earliest Christians?

Erratum: December 13 should be changed to January 6, since there is a 12- day difference between the Julian and Gregorian calendar.

kung adto pud tas pagan2x...sure jud diay ta nga dec 25 pud to kang mithra? nga estimate raman pud to...
and matud pang newbie kada adlaw, pagans celebrate something..so maski pag unsa nga date ma associate ug ma associate jud na ug any pagan practice...

personally, i celebrate Christmas on the 25th of december, whether naay ma associate ana nga pagan god or dili na sakto jud nga date...I am celebrating the Birth of my Lord and Savior and mao nay importante...

karun puro ta Christiano, maglalis ta aning gagmayng butanga...MALIPAY and atong Ginoo ani?
