harddrive rpm how fast your harddrives plate rotates in which the faster it rotates the shorter the time for your data being retrieve.

My thoughts lang pud. The reason why USB 3.0 needs a lower rpm coz it can process 5Gbps thus eliminating the need for a higher revolution. USB 2.0 speed is at 480Mbps which can take advantage of a much higher rpm. But still with the huge difference on the data transfer, USB 2.0 cannot supersede the USB 3.0.

yes it talks about revolution bro but ur using USB 2.0 for 7200rpm while USB 3.0 is faster but it uses 5400rpm lang so which is faster ana nila interms of transfering data?
