I still can't believe ingon ani kadaghan and kadako ang nailad aning bayhana. tsk tsk

July this year, my friend from Lilo-an told me he was selling Samsung S3 for 23k only (5 units daw), at that time S3 is around 33-37k market price and item will arrive around late july or early august, my supplier (supplier gyud ni nako sa tanan nako gibaligya legit and more than 500 transactions na) was selling the same item at 28k at that time.

Nakakwarta daw siya in less than 4 months tungod ani na business and sakto gyud ko something illegal is going on.

kanang concept of setting a downpayment is ok ra man unta.. its all part of the risk whenever you buy something. ang dapat gud i-check is how credible is the seller that you're dealing with.. diha ra gud na magdaog ang transaction..

i dont think so bro. kanang magpa down pa kay pasabot walay puhonan para mu order una b4 e baligya. diba mas maayo order sila daan then baligya diri? hadlok lang sila di mahalin. by accepting down payments, they're passing the risk on to you, without you knowing. kinsa may musugot anang buyer's risk?

Sayang jud kaayo kwarta. Pero ana jud na.. Test the waters sa lagi before you dive.
Ako nailad sad ko sa una ana.. Down2 unya nawalag kalit ang seller.
Dili hinuon to istoryan. Pero I have to admit it was my stupid mistake.
More or less you had an idea na scam ni but then ni risk jud mo for potential profit/savings.

Wa tay mabuhat tabang lang tag up.

Partly you're correct bro, but the then again, if you intended to run a business, getting an assurance from your buyer is just a normal scheme. Thus, naa ingon ana na type of transaction (asking for a downpayment). Mas acceptable lang gud when we're talking about brand new items. Again, it's a risk on both parties. Yes, it's a fact man gud that any merchandise that you purchase, or any transaction you deal with, no matter what method your transaction could be, naa gud na risk. And yes, there will always be those people who will take those risks in the hope that they are dealing with a credible seller. Ana sad ang mindset sa mga middlemen who took the risk, and thought that Pinky Pilapil was a credible supplier. The sad part, things like these don't happen man sad without both parties coming up with an agreement. Too bad this time, pangilad lang gud ang nahitabo and those middlemen (3rd party sellers) ang nagproblema kun asa mukuha ug money para i-uli sa mga nag-order.

Anyway, let's go back to what this thread is really for - to help those victims of this scam. I'm still hoping that they would be able catch that culprit and somehow makabawi sad ang mga nailad. Pasko pa naman.

ah, i understand bro. i think ang answer is "it depends on the type of business." for example. kung made-to-order nga business like material fabrication, or custom size/special orders, they would ask for a purchase order or down payment to secure nga ila jud kuhaon. but in the simple buy and sell business, it really makes no sense to do that.

supposedly it's just: buy product > store product > sell product
and not: take down payment > order product > wait for product > receive balance payment > give product
