Default Re: The DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY. unsa inyong knowledge about God?

    @NapoleonBlownapart

How does it relate to what I said that God has intellect(rational), emotion and will?
    >> Gi unsa man nimo pagkabalo bro nga naay intellect, emotion, ug will imong God?

That's something that I don't expect you to understand. Just as what Paul had said " For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing..."
    >> message of the Cross? kabalo ka sa origin sa cross?

Dude that's just too ridiculous. Do you know how peace, love, and happiness functions in the sentence? They're nouns but they function as an adjective. They describe what God is. They describe the nature of God. Ka failure ba sad ana nga way of thinking oi. Because God is love, love is God na dayon. hahaha..

Just because it eats and it defecates doesn't mean it's a person. Animals eat and defecate but they are no way considered a person. I already defined a person so focus on that. A person is rational, has will, and has emotion. God has that three qualities that define a person, as revealed in the bible, so God must be a person. Simple logic lang na dong jovi. You don't need to ride on Soriano's foolishness about a god who defecates.
    >> ok, di na lng ko mo discuss more on why Love is God. kasabot nganong di ka kasabot ana. hehehe. so when you say that your God has emotions, does your God feel sad? angry? cheated? disappointed? rejected? worried? lonely? hurt? deceived? afraid?

The purpose is to check if your source is reliable. Quit dodging. Show us your source. Additional question. Where does the word "Christ" come from?
    >> si Jesus mismo bro, sa bible gihapon, pero ang imo lng nasabtan ky tao, ako ky dili man. nagpasabot lng na nga wa ka kabalo nga naa ky Christ inside you, ok ra na para nako

You're dodging the question. The question is simple if you know about your God. Of course no one would know everything about God but He would reveal himself to us so that we can understand who he is. Basi lang sa imong nahibaw-an ba. Is it really difficult to answer the question?
    >> daghan man ug attributes si God bro, i told you sa pagkakaron, akong nahibaw-an, God is Love, God is Peace, God is Happiness. but libog man ka. but what i have learned is God is impersonal, God is way way way (x 1 million) beyond our earthly existence. and God is separate from His creation. mao lng na sa pagkakaron.

Use "IT" because if it's not a person then it's an "IT". Di man na malalis nga basta dili person IT na na sya. Wa may rules sa above a person ug below a person gud tawn jovi. Imo ra man nang himo-himo for the convenience of your belief. LOL
    >> i think wa pai pronoun nga para ni God. di sad pwede himo-an. God is way beyond (x 1 billion)

Klaro kaayo ang distinction jovi. He(Word) made his dwelling among us(humans) nya ngano gud nahimong kita tanan?
    >> para nako kita tanan ky kada usa nato, naa man Christ, even the Muslims, atheists, Buddhist, kita tanan diri sa earth, naa ta Christ tanan. kanang dwelling nimo among us bro, unsay pasabot nimo ana?

Don't you feel hungry, thirsty, or tired? When you feel hungry don't have the desire to eat? When you're thirsty don't have the desire to drink? Don't you desire rest when you're tired? Mao na nga unless buhi pa ka di na mawala nang physical desires since you're living in a physical world with a physical body.
    >> to eat is not a desire, but what food you want to eat is a desire, and showing what food you eat is an ego. to drink is not a desire, but what you want to drink is a desire. to rest is not a desire, but where you want to rest, or the type of bed you want to sleep is a desire. yes bro, physical desires, physical world, physical body. also physical God?

God loves us.. naa jud na object. Love is expressed. Same with kindness. Unsaon nimo pagkaingon nga kind na siya nga tao kun di sya magpakita sa iyang kindness? Unsaon man sad pagpakita sa kindness kun way object? You quoted Corinthians para sa meaning sa love pero have you not understood that the attributes of love like kind, patient, long suffering, etc, all require actions? In every action there should be a doer and a receiver. IOW naay object dong jovi.
    >> how did you know that God loves you? nagpakita si God nimo unya nisulti nimo, "dodong napoleon I love you" . nganong imong love need man ug object? bec you are attached to the physical world. when you feel love without an object, that means something else not of this physical world.

Oo mo too ko nga mobalik si Jesus ug mo establish ug iyang Kingdom as revealed to John but with regards to the the "Kingdom of God" in the context of the verse subject to our argument, no it's not a physical kingdom. It's obvious sa context nga di na physical kingdom.
    >> gi unsa man nimo pagkabalo nga mubalik si Jesus bro? di ba kaha ang Christ ang gipasabot nga mubalik? unsaon man nimo pag-ila nga si Jesus ang nibalik? unsa nga klase sa Kingdom ang iyang i establish? di makita ky not physical kingdom gud? ang pwede masakop niya ky di pud makita?

Syempre klaro gud ang giingon sa verse nga gitubag niya ang nangutana niya din after that he turned to his disciples and said something else. So klaro kaayo nga ang tubag sa Pharisees jud to nga nangutana.
    >> so nahimong bakakon si Jesus ana bro? pag ask sa Pharisees, Jesus answered, the Kingdom of God is withing you. pag-atubang sa mga disciples, niana siya, "ayaw mo kabalaka mga disciples, di to tinood, tagbaw to sila ug pangita sa ilang lawas, pero ang tinood ang Kingdom of God is naa ra nako or naa sa unahan wala lng sila kabalo" . Pareha ra na tanan bro, ayaw himo-a ug bakakon si Jesus.

    Mahibaw-an ra na unya.

If you believe in a god that's irrational and devoid of will and emotions, kay matud pa nimo God is not a person din padayon sa imong pagtuo. Ako motuo ko nga God is a person because he shows qualities of being a person. God is capable of reason, he has emotions, and he has a will.

Bottom line jovi imong gituohan nga dios lahi sa ako gituohan nga Dios.
    >> i respect what you believe bro

Time is past, present, and future. But, there are not three times, only one.

In Christianity bro, mao nay gitawag ug Humility....not actually detaching yourself from the physical body but suppressing the ego and allowing the Holy Spirit to reign. If you have the Holy Spirit bro, dili lisud ang humility....thats why for the true christians, naa jud na ang humbleness or humility.
when you were born bro, you have all the knowledge about your soul and God and less on your physical body. But when you grew up, you have forgotten about your soul and God, what you know is just your physical existence and your physical God.

    Do Not Worry

22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[b]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Dili man jud tinuod ma-grasp nato totally ang fullness sa Ginoo brod no? I may say, di kaha na mao ang imong gimean nga ginoong impersonal? hehee..

btaw for me, why we consider the Holy Spirit as a person.....
The Deity of the Holy Spirit | Grace Communion International

The Holy Spirit teaches/guides us to truth....

John 16:13"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.
He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come"

    1 Corinthian 2:12
"We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us"

    The Holy Spirit grieves...

This is the case when one in whom the Spirit dwells disobeys the leadings of the Spirit.

    Judges 16:20
Though the Spirit had been with Samson, after Samson's continued disobedience He left him.
    Isaiah 63:10
When the Israelites rebelled they grieved the Holy Spirit and He turned against them.

    Ephesians 4:30
Paul warned the Ephesian Churches 'not to grieve the Holy Spirit'.

    Triadic formulas:
Several passages discuss the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as equals. In a discussion of spiritual gifts, Paul puts the Spirit, the Lord, and God in grammatically parallel constructions (1 Cor. 12:4-6). Paul closes a letter with a three-part prayer: "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all" (2 Cor. 13:14). Peter begins a letter with this three-part formula: "who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood" (1 Peter 1:2).

Murag wala paman tay buot bro about soul, God, etc....the day we were born.

Lahi sad imoha bro kaysa tinuod we are fallen short from God's glory na. Walay taw nga pagkataw niya nangita dayon siya sa Ginoo Sin is what separates us from God. Though wala pa makasala ang newborn but ang accumulation sa sala mao ang nakapalayo nato sa Ginoo.

Naay verse bro taht says...Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you....Ato lang ma experience iyang presence bro in our life when we have the Spirit working in us.
