If these online displays of disgust at rude jerks results in some people taking a close look in the mirror or even thinking twice about how they conduct themselves in public then this cloud has a silver lining.

IS A PRIORITY when it comes to LRT/MRT o bisan asa. Everyone can be a terrorist.
I think the public should be fair.
The video only showed 'Amalayer' girl lashing out at the guard. What if she was REALLY provoked? The video didn't show how she was treated by the guard. Just because 'Amalayer' girl did something most of us wouldn't do (berate someone in public in English), who are we to judge?
She's just an easy target because, let's accept it, majority of the people feel anyone who speaks in English in public is just being haughty and elitist. That's NOT always the case.
Moreover, let's be brutally honest, how many of us here have been treated rudely by security guards? I'm sure, at least, ONCE in our life, we had the experience of being rudely treated by a security guard. Some guards feel and ACT so high and mighty, let's admit that.
kung feel niya treated rudely siya sa guard, pwedi man niya kuha on ang name sa guard then i reklamo sa management. saun sad ning bayhana padala man sa iya gi bati... backfire nuun niya.
You're very lucky, then. When I went to the bank with my best friend who was 36 weeks pregnant, the guard who opened the door for us was rude. My friend asked him if there was an area where she can sit (because she was pregnant), the guard said, "Aw, tanawa lang kung naay bakante malingkuran. Kung wa, aw wa." He said it with a shrug and with a smug face.
We understand that people like security guards are just doing their jobs but courtesy is basic.
The guard in the video had her back towards the camera. She was calm because the woman was already drawing attention to their situation by berating her. Was the guard calm before that? I'd like to know.
