i appreciate giving your thoughts sir @snipereyes05. With regards to 1 Corinthians 8:13, lets take a look at the previous lines to it - 1 Corinthians 8:9-13 "10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? 11 So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. 12 When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall." >> hehe actually this translation is quite good since you can understand it easily because of the grammar. 1 Corinthians 8:13 is actually a hyperbole type of figure of speech if i'm not mistaken. The meaning of this verse is about being a good example for your fellow brother/sister, by not eating the food offered to idols which is a no-no. Kay if a fellow brother/sister sees you doing what is a no-no, that fellow brother/sister might be tempted to do the same thing, hence you sinned to your brother/sister also you sinned against Christ. Sa bisaya pa, "if kung sa akong gikaon makapasala sa akong brod/sis, di nalang jud ko mokaog meat, para di sila makasala tungod nako." Ana lang bro.
