that's good bai, continue reading the bible till you get to these parts...
matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Galatians 2:21
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
and 1 Corinthians 10:31
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
The mosaic laws were somehow perceived to have sub-parts such were sacramental, constitutional and moral
the sacramental are laws how old testament people can keep themselves holy, clean and righteous..
at least partially while waiting for the fullness of it..examples:are sabbath, offerings, how sins are atoned..etc
constitutional are basically laws of the land...which obviously will not apply to our civilization...
moral laws are Laws that have infinite value...which we can still see in our moral values...
like stealing,killing, etc are bad...
all sorts of Law are already fulfilled by Jesus..as He is our Righteousness, the final atonement of our Sins...
therefore Jewish sacramental laws are already fulfilled by Jesus...
i also believe that not eating something specific is also one of those laws...
but if you are convicted by the Holy Spirit to fiollow certain OT Laws...then by all means do so...
as the same manner applies that anyone can take the nazirite vow...
