Sa 8 ka total post ni iskandalo, mao ra ni nga text iya gina post puro mga cut n paste sa lain2x nga thread? kita na gyud ang katag ni Ouano... wala na lain propaganda... hadlok gyud diay mo sa inyo kalaban nga si Cortes?

Nasayud kita ug ang katawhan kinsa ang politiko nga nag-paluyo aning plunder case batok ni mayor ouano.

Ang kaso nga gi-pasaka batok sa mga opisyal sa Mandaue gihikay sa abogado ni Tomas Osmeña diha sulod sa opisina ni Konsehal Jack Jakosalem. Si Jack igsuon sa asawa ni Leo Lastimosa sa dyAB nga adunay personal nga kasuko sa pangagamhanan sa Mandaue.

Kining maong proyekto makahatag ug kapin sa 120-mil ka mga trabaho sa taga Mandaue.

Apan kusganon nga mibabag si jonas sa maong proyekto kay maapektuhan man ila yuta.

Anti-graft investigators have recommended the suspension of 19 government officials for their alleged complicity in the P365.8 million purchase of overpriced lampposts and streetlights for the Asean summit.

No, the recommendation was not for them to be suspended from the top of the lampposts.

I don't really know why the Ouano camp is making it their battle cry that Mayor Osmena or whoever is behind the filing of the complaint against him. may it be politically motivated or not, it's the same thing. the issue here is that those lampposts were grossly overpriced and Teddy affixed his signature on it. does it really matter if it were either Juan or Pedro who filed that complaint?

hhmmmmm.. I do have an idea, maybe if it were Juan or Pedro who filed the complaint, it would have been easier for them "Ouano camp" to "buy" or threaten them.. but not Tommy.. it's very feasible right?

Using leaflets, Teddy explains lampposts mess to brys.

MANDAUE City Mayor Thadeo Ouano maintains his innocence on the controversial lampposts and this time, he chooses to explain his side to the barangays.

Leaflets distributed in different barangays state that the Mandaue City Government was never involved in the bidding, awarding and payment for the lampposts installed along the ceremonial route during the 12th Asean summit.

“Mandaue City prepared the program of works and estimates so it could be used in the preparation of the budget for the Asean summit. The sole body that has the authority to approve or disapprove the purchase of the lampposts is the bids and awards committee of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH),” the leaflet read.

It said that the complaint filed against Mandaue City officials was prepared by a lawyer of Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña in the office of Cebu City Councilor Sylvan Jakosalem.

lol,... it seems that the ouano's are trying to get the sympaty from the people ... his supposed to answer the allegation to the ombudsman not to the barangay ... wala na gyud lain mahimo sila... ma klaro naman nuon nga guilty sila.

The Office of the Ombudsman on Thursday suspended two Cebu city mayors and 17 other officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for allegedly overpricing lampposts installed for the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit in the province in January.

Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez placed Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Ouano, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Arthuro Radaza; Mandaue city engineer Hidelisa Latonio; assistant engineer Gregorio Omo; Lapu-Lapu city engineer Julito Cuizon; assistant engineer Fernando Tagaan Jr.; and engineers Mario Gerolaga; Alfredo Sanchez Sr.; Rosalina Denque; Julito Quizon; and Rogelio Veloso under preventive suspension.
