Overall, what really adds up mga bro is the WEIGHT of the rims. Be it wider or larger in diameter it still falls into the total weight.
Weight will greatly affect consumption. So dapat e consider nimo ang ka-gaan sa yantas para gamay consumption.

salamat sa mga inputs! I'm not changing rims... my ride is an avanza G 1st gen... stock is 185/65/15. Nahan lang ta ko naay grip gamay ang sakyanan mao nakahuna-huna ko change to 195/60/15. And btw, regarding the offset thing, if mag change ko, kinahanglan ba jud siya naa offset? pardon my ignorance lang jud mga sirs, but your inputs would sincerely be appreciated. thanks daan!

Fuel consumption will effect but not that much.
Regarding of changing bigger/wider rims you need to consider the offset also of the rim that you are going to replace from your stock rims. But since you're just changing the tyre size from 185/65 to 195/60, using stock rims. I think your still OK. Use the link below if you are planning to change rims size and tyre. You will have idea how the offset play if you change wider rims.
