HELP with my HP Pavilion Media Center PC m7288d --> TV tuner wont work

its tv tuner wont work here in d philippines (unsupported)... it is using media center from windows as its software... pls help me solve this prob... i tried using SHOWSHIFTER and somehow it give signs that it will function here in philippines but i have a problem with its audio..it wont sound in any way i tried on TV TUNER MODE... but when in FM RADIO MODE it is functioning well...

PLS HELP.... sayang nice unta kaau ang PC...i wanted to open d case but it is still under warranty...maayo nlng unta makita ang chipset sa TV TUNER... i tried calling thinking tools but they just referred me to HP Cebu then HP Cebu forwarded me to anywhere.... i think that was an international service center for HP.. wala gihapon nitubag nako... THANKS IN ADVANCE ISTORYANS.......

try pangita ang function ntsc(US/philippines system) basig na set na sa pal/secam(europe system)

naka set namani ug NTSC_M bro... dili jud supported sa philippines inig set nako sa TV SIGNAL... hibong judko ngano imbis dri man unta ni gipalit sa pinas...sa thinking tools...

afaik you need to connect a cable from the tv tuner (audio out) to your sound card (audio in)

libog manko ani kay iya TV tuner ang nakabutang audio input man.... its an RCA socket then 2 ka socket puro audio input... unlike my TV tuner sa isa nako ka computer kay Audio out man then ako connect sa line input or microphone socket... libog jud kaau ko ani nya... besides mo tingog man ang FM tuner nya...maskin walay wire naka connect aside sa speaker lahos...
