Just want to share this little joy we had earlier. We opened the piggy bank of our 1 year and 9 months kid. We constantly let our kid put coins inside his piggy bank every time we got home every night. We are that serious in teaching our kid the value of saving this early. Me and my wife never spend our coins but instead put it inside our kid's piggy bank so basically, everything that we put inside that piggy bank are loose change.

After 6 months of putting coins it it, we finally opened it. We got around P6,870.

What's the lesson in this one? If you have the habit of saving, small amounts can turn out to be so big in the long run. Who would have thought that by putting P10, P5, and P1 a night, we could reach that amount in just 6 months?

Spend consciously and responsibly and develop the habit of saving. It's not that hard.

same thing here. Ako 1 year old 8 months (duol ra man d ay ilang edad bro) nga daughter, whenever I gave her coin kuhaon dayon iyang piggy and put the coin. At first tudlo-an pa nako siya pag sulod pero karon siya na mangita sa iyang alkansiya

I salute you....... kung tanan nga parents pareha ninyo..... hayag kaau ang kaugmaon sa mga bata......... not because sa inyong money nga ihatag nila, but the training, the good influence..... they can stand on their own..... kay nindot kaau silag pundasyon sugod pagkabata............ what i see today is mga bata to adults, grabe kaau ang spending......... ui....... mga bata, everyday mag softdrinks...... What sa akong pagka elementary maka softdrinks rakog bday nako...... i can't even demand things...... and many other things...... mga adults.... too..... so many meaningless expenses.... maski kuwang ang sweldo permi utang....... d samot kadako ang utang...... or the opposite of it nidako ang sweldo then nidako sad ug samot ang expenses..... palit dayun mahal na car, naa pa gani cellphone palit nasad lain kay naay bag o na Iphone....etc...... hayssss..... what a waste..... Kong mahimo kung parent, ako gyud e train sad pareha ninyo sir..... i've seen people from RICHES TO RAGS......... makaingon kag sayanga ani niya ui......

Naa koy Giganahan na chx before..... and i heard from a friend of hers naa dli daw cya nako kay wala daw koy Wheels....... hahahhaha.....it hurts baya pod ato nga time..... naka think pod ko na, materialistic sad diay ni cya...... mao tong usa na ka reason nga sugod ko save and invest, .... heheheheh....
